No machine rate limiting was observed during corrections (stable correction).  Limited emittance reduction, with respect to the golden orbit, was observed. At 6:30 am we asked the operators to restore the machine to its initial status.

Summary from User:

The sYAG dispersion scan was performed first. We then ran into issues with the jaws and notch collimator regarding their range of motion relative to the beam orbit. An appropriate slit width and range for the tomographic scan was still determined. The FACET TCAV calibration and FACET TCAV BLM were both performed by ops with no problems. The E200 DAQ is not in working condition. It was not fixed before the end of the shift. Thus, the E200 TCAV BLM and the tomographic slit scans were not performed. Troubleshooting will of the E200 DAQ will continue until it works.

Summary from User:

Investigated hollow channel by a combination of transverse and timing scans. Learned that transverse size of plasma is strongly dependent on relative timing shifts of 1 ps timescale.  This is unexpected with respect to previous work/theory, and very interesting.  Needs to be investigated further.

Summary from User:

A very good data set was obtained with acceleration of a trailing bunch to ~2+ GeV above its initial energy. The wake from the drive bunch was apparently large (~5GeV/m) and was facilitated by the pre-ionization laser. When this laser was off, a large portion of the drive bunch was wasted since it could not itself ionize the Li vapor. This data set includes a scan of the energy features from -6 GeV to the maximum of ~ 3 GeV. An identical dataset was taken without the plasma or laser so we can know how the two energies (the two bunches) we injected behave in the beam transport to the spectrometer.
